Tyler, out of boredom, invites his best friend, Gary, to see a movie. Gary agrees, on the condition Tyler buys his own ticket. Tyler accepts, but while trying to find enough money for his ticket, he finds himself becoming trapped in his sister, Mariah's, closet and being transformed into her shortly thereafter. Gary then arrives to pick him up and, in an attempt to avoid running into the real Mariah, Tyler tricks Gary into letting him come. Gary, who had always had a crush on Mariah, happily agrees. The two then go to the arcade to kill time. While there, Tyler finds himself feeling attracted to Gary. He tries to fight these feelings, but they only continue to grow stronger upon their arrival to the movie theater.
Finally, Tyler finds it getting harder and harder to deny his feelings and him and Gary share a kiss. Meanwhile, the real Mariah returns home from work, who, upon entering her closet to grab a change of clothes, is trapped and transformed into Tyler. Suddenly, the mysterious fox statue Mariah had bought a few weeks prior, begins to speak. It introduces itself simply as, " The Fox" and goes on to explain that it was he who transformed both her and Tyler. He then goes on to explain that the siblings were meant to be born as the other gender, but instead got "mixed up in the womb." Mariah immediately denies this and demands that the Fox change her and Tyler back. The Fox, however, simply wishes Mariah luck in discovering her "true self" and disappears. Despite Mariah's attempts to get Juliet to leave so she can find the real Tyler, Juliet asks if they can go and do something together.īefore Mariah can think of what to do next, Tyler's girlfriend, Juliet, arrives.
